I'm becoming a connoisseaur of dark chocolates, at least those which are lactose free. Good luck navigating the world of food all over again. Nobody ever said parenting was easy, right?<BR/><BR/>As far as allergy statistics go, I'd believe that only two percent of adults suffer "actual" allergies, but that may not mean the one-third are all wrong. Apparently, though I am lactose "intolerant" and may be "sensitive" to wheat gluten, I am not actually allergic to anything. As far as I can tell, an "allergy" involves a respiratory reaction; digestive symptoms get other names.
